Harvest Supper
On Friday 5th October, St. James' hosted it's first (I think) Harvest Supper in Church. It was attended by over 40 people who enjoyed a somewhat "different" "Harvest Menu": a choice of sausage casserole, chicken in white wine sauce, chilli con carne or a vegetable option, followed by a selection of delicious desserts plus a cheeseboard (table!) that would have looked good in the poshest of restaurants. There was also an impressive selection of alcoholic and soft drinks plus tea and coffee. All this for £5 and many (including me), even had "seconds"!!
