Just Clobber's 10th Birthday
On Tuesday 29th August 2014, Just Clobber celebrated its 10th Birthday. During the past 10 years, it has been a major fund raiser for St. James' Church in addition to providing a very useful service. It's as good as a car boot sale but you don't have to worry about the weather! The range of items on sale has gradually evolved and there is something for everyone; books, clothing, bric a brac, toys, crockery and lots more. The "stock" varies from week to week so if what you want isn't there the first time you visit, do try again. We get items of furniture, pushchairs, prams, bicycles, computer "stuff" and everything is nice and clean and very reasonably priced. We also serve tea, coffee and home made cakes.
